Our commitments

At Mantra, we are committed to so many things, and pledge to continually evolve, grow and improve in so many areas. These are the areas that matter to us:

  1. Equity: We are committed to being a fair employer and organisation. We will endeavour to learn and grow, to actively seek diverse talent to work with us on key projects and work, to work with our clients to be just, fair, and inclusive in their hiring practices, and workplace culture. We are mindful of language and work with all of our clients to ensure our strategic search and trustee search is independent, transparent and actively widens pools and encourages inviting in people who face barriers they are there to break. We are actively learning on neurodiversity and different work practices both for us and our clients. We are advocates for change. We engage with our clients for best practice advice on DEI as they are often experts in supporting those most marginalised.

  2. Work-life balance and wellbeing: We are actively committed to the wellbeing of our team, and we work to the rhythm of their lives where possible, whether that is young family rhythm, mid-life rhythm or empty-nester or otherwise. We are flexible, and trusting, and digital first.

  3. Social impact: We are committed to working with organisations who want to create a better world, workplace and impact. We partner with Charities Institute Ireland, and give contributions to charities, local causes and international ngos as part of our CSR, and also provide in-kind supports and lo-bono consulting to Social Enterprises and partners.

  4. Environmental responsibility: We are a remote-first organisation, and digital first organisation in our approach. We do meet in person and conduct training and workshops in person, but also operate and offer all our programmes online. We only travel when necessary and conducive to better results. So when we do get together, we thrive and have a good natter!

  5. We are proudly Guaranteed Irish. This means our commitment to Irish employment and sustainability is recognised as a member of this important network.
